Doolen Student Clubs
Chess Club
The Doolen Chess Club meets on Mondays at 4pm for about an hour and is open to all students. The club is focused on teaching to students new to chess how to play, as well as, improving the skills and tactics of experienced players. The club has a team and members that compete during the scholastic school season to both place individually and represent Doolen. For the 2020-2021 school year, Chess Club will meet on Zoom. Students can find the link on their teachers' Clever or Teams pages.

Equality Club
Equality Club is open to all students, teachers, and staff at Doolen who are members or allies of the LGBTQ+ community. The club's focus is providing a place of acceptance and safety for the members. Equality Club meets at 4:00 on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month. During the 2020-2021 school year, Equality Club will meet on Zoom. Students can find the link on their teachers' Clever or Teams pages.

Social Club
Social Club is for any student who wishes to help promote kindness and peace on Doolen's campus. Social Club meets at 4:00 every other Thursday. During the 2020-2021 school year, Social Club will meet on Zoom. Students can find the link on their teachers' Clever or Teams pages.

Student Council
Student Council is responsible for coordinating the student events at Doolen Middle School and managing the school store. Typical duties of a Student Council member include working at the school store, serving on different committees, and attending events. Students of any grade level are encouraged to reach out to our adviser, Mr. Sherry, for more information about how they can get involved for the 2021-2022 school year.

Yearbook
Yearbook Club designs the yearbook for Doolen. During a regular school year, students in the yearbook club will be asked to take pictures, learn photo editing software and the yearbook software, as well as attend Doolen sporting events and concerts. Students interested in Yearbook for the 2021-2022 school year should contact the adviser, Ms. Coulter, for more information.
